Florist is a contemporary, luxury leather goods brand, focused on the intersection between  traditional craft and modern design.

The name Florist, imbued with sentimentality; reflects the nature of the objects produced; they are designed to be treasured, each one unique; preserving a history of craftsmanship whilst expressing a whimsical individuality. 

George Banks initially began Florist as an art project in 2019; with a background in textile production he sought to explore the intricacies of unique crafting elements; merging traditional silhouettes with playful abstraction. His pieces quickly developed a cult following among the downtown NY arts and fashion scene, propelling Florist to a global audience.

Each Florist piece is thoughtfully hand-crafted; slowly made in their NY studio or a family-run artisanal production house in Portugal.
